Man i had this song on repeat for days back when it came out in 05 when i was in a dark place. Now in 22/23 another dark place and this song finds its way to me again. All these years later and i can still rap with em knowing all the lines. This guy is what artist means
🙏❤ lost my mom 7/6 to brain cancer and it's a balance of love, devastation, remorse, relief, reminiscence, self reflection, destruction, despair and good lawwwwwd pity. All the things I should have done better

Help Mommy, her wrists are bleedin'!» «But baby, we’re in Sweden, how did you get to Sweden?» «I followed you, Daddy, you told me that you weren’t leavin' You lied to me, Dad, and now you made Mommy sad And I bought you this coin, it says 'Number One Dad' That’s all I wanted, I just wanna give you this coin I get the point, fine, me and Mommy are goin'.» «But baby, wait!» - «It's too late, Dad, you made the choice Now go up there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us That’s what they want, they want you, Marshall, they keep Screamin' your name, it’s no wonder you can’t go to sleep Just take another pill, yeah, I bet you you will You rap about it, yeah, word, k-keep it real.» I hear applause, all this time I couldn’t see How could it be that the curtain is closin' on me? I turn around, find a gun on the ground, cock it Put it to my brain, scream, «Die, Shady!» and pop it The sky darkens, my life flashes, the plane that I was Supposed to be on crashes and burns to ashes That’s when I wake up, alarm clock’s ringin', there’s birds singin' It’s spring and Hailie’s outside swingin' I walk right up to Kim and kiss her, tell her I miss her Hailie just smiles, and winks at her little sister, almost as if to say And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
the first time I listened to this was two years ago, then I lost my daddy...and it really hits hard " so when I am gone just carry one, don't mourn, rejoice every time you hear my voice." just know I am looking down on you smiling.

As a single mom who would do anything for my baby boy, this song hits hard. It's a battle between satisfying financial obligations and being around enough to raise a healthy member of society. We need more dads to step up. Or at least wrap up. 🤷🏼♀️

Você percebe na forma que ele canta que ele realmente está demostrando sentimentos, e isso deixa a música incrível, sem contar a batida que já é muito boa
Marshall if you ever cross that water you’ve been my inspiration you’ve kept me brighter than the sun with your lyrics in a small town called Leeds in the uk and you have the biggest fan base in the uk you alone have inspired me keep up the good work I’m a fan since you ruffled the feathers back when I was at high school x you’re the best mashall xtrue American x
Everyday when i listen to this song tears just drop like infinity rain😭😭i regrets everything I've done to my kids the ignorant, the shutting off,and i hope one day the will find it in their heart to forgive me
I miss my brother every day, and if there's an afterlife I hope could meet him again, he loved this song (& Eminem as well) so much. it's been 10 years still couldn't get over it, and I never could forget him
Lost both parents my Mother to Cancer then my dad passed with a broken heart, all at the grand age of 17 and being 55 not a day passed until just recently lost my 54 year old dearest woman I was not married just to together 30 great years to us and another lady had the same chest infection last MAY. Only my poor lady took so bad died in bed 🛌 heart attack as life is lonely & life can be so cruel like are we only here to watch all your best family die INFRONT of you,I could make a million rap songs over this horrible life we’re dealt & yet we have to just crack -on as a good guy full of the joys of a so called bored as fuck days to trying to live & eat pay bills Ect… never in my life have I lost everything I loved so much as we never argued or tried we clicked as our daughter 26 this June has now fell out over money I saved with my other half but my daughter was on to thinking my savings “ she was owed plenty like 2/3k outta 4K , now Stormed out cos I bought all the new TV and X BOX and Decks to kill the.boredom until I get working ASAP with zero jobs anywhere after sending CVS to employers daily with not even an answer. Having a 8 year old daughter that is my absolute world, my everything just makes this song hit me that much harder. Until you have a child of your own you just can't comprehend this type of love. It's so different from anything I've ever known. I'd lay my life down for my little angel without hesitation. Literally give an arm for.
4:35 - 4:45 This short 10 second part hit me like a truck when I was 18/19. Heavily addicted to painkillers, and something about it just spoke to me. Some Eminem songs helped a shit ton.
I still cant comprehend the talent, the creativity and the power to create something so beautiful and powerful as this song is.. Eminem truly is a music God. Masterpiece
Yeah, it's my life My own words, I guess Have you ever loved someone so much You'd give an arm for Not the expression, no Literally give an arm for When they know they're your heart And you know you are their armor And you will destroy anyone who would try to harm her But what happens when karma Turns right around and bites you And everything you stand for turns on you to spite you What happens when you become the main source of her pain "Daddy look what I made" "Dad's gotta go catch a plane" "Daddy where's mommy? I can't find mommy, where is she?" "I don't know, go play, Hailie baby, your daddy's busy Daddy's writing a song, this song ain't gon' write itself" I give you one underdog, and you gotta swing by yourself Then turn right around in that song and tell her you love her And put hands on her mother who's the spittin' image of her That's Slim Shady, yeah baby Slim Shady's crazy Shady made me But tonight, Shady's rock-a-bye baby And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm lookin' down on you smilin' And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm lookin' down on you smilin' And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back I keep havin' this dream I'm pushin' Hailie on a swing, she keeps screamin', she don't want me to sing "You're makin' mommy cry, why, why is mommy cryin'" "Baby, daddy ain't leavin' no more, daddy you're lyin' You always say that, you always say this is the last time But you ain't leavin' no more daddy, you're mine" She's pilin' boxes in front of the door tryin' to block it "Daddy please, daddy, don't leave, daddy, no, stop it" Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket It's got a picture, "This will keep you safe daddy, take it with ya" I look up, it's just me standin' in the mirror These fuckin' walls must be talkin', 'cause man I can hear 'em They're sayin', "you got one more chance to do right And it's tonight, now go out and show 'em that you love 'em before it's too late" And just as I go to walk out of my bedroom door It turns to a stage, they're gone and the spotlight is on and I'm singin' And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm lookin' down on you smilin' And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm lookin' down on you smilin' And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back Sixty thousand people all jumpin' out their seat The curtain closes, they're throwin' roses at my feet I take a bow, and thank you all for comin' out They're screamin' so loud, I take one last look at the crowd I glance down, I don't believe what I'm seein' "Daddy, its me, help mommy, her wrists are bleedin'" But baby we're in Sweden How did you get to Sweden? @Micha Nosaehi I go way further than that. Music has been on a steady decline in America ever since 1964-68 with the release of the masterpiece Sergeant pepper lonely heart song band... By the Beatles. The harmonic complexity, number of instrumentation and live music pieces, dynamic range, and singing quality have all dropped steadily across the board since that album hit. There are a few standouts of course, like Metallica and tool in rock and roll, but it's been on the general decline since. Music across the board has gone on the decline ever since Beethoven, the last of the great Masters. Tchaikovsky fought like hell, and he did achieve near Beethoven levels with masterpieces like swan lake and the nutcracker, but even he fell short of that peak.
Going through a lot lately now the cops trying to lock me up for defending myself in my own house so I guess I'm here cuz your music has helped me the most when I was growing up it's going to help me now to keep my head up,Thankyou & love you em.
Damn this song always gets me that feeling that goes trough all body, idk how to call it, i guess someone has it too.

Have you ever loved someone so much, you’d give an arm for?
Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for
When they know they’re your heart and you know you are their armor
And you will destroy anyone who would try to harm her
But what happens when karma turns right around to bite you?
And everything you stand for turns on you to spite you?
What happens when you become the main source of her pain?
«Daddy, look what I made!» «Dad's gotta go catch a plane»
«Daddy, where’s Mommy? I can’t find Mommy, where is she?»
«I don’t know, go play, Hailie, baby, your daddy’s busy
Daddy’s writin' a song, this song ain’t gon' write itself
I’ll give you one underdog, then you gotta swing by yourself»
Then turn right around on that song and tell her you love her
And put hands on her mother who’s a spitting image of her
That’s Slim Shady, yeah, baby, Slim Shady’s crazy
Shady made me, but tonight Shady’s rock-a-bye baby, ha
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
I keep havin' this dream, I’m pushin' Hailie on the swing
She keeps screamin' she don’t want me to sing
«You're makin' Mommy cry, why? Why is Mommy cryin'?»
«Baby, Daddy ain’t leavin' no more» «Daddy, you’re lyin'!
You always say that, you always say this is the last time
But you ain’t leavin' no more, Daddy, you’re mine!»
She’s pilin' boxes in front of the door, tryna block it
«Daddy, please! Daddy, don’t leave! Daddy, no, stop it!»
Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket
It’s got a picture, «This'll keep you safe, Daddy, take it with ya!»
I look up, it’s just me standin' in the mirror
These fuckin' walls must be talkin', 'cause man, I can hear 'em
They’re sayin', «You got one more chance to do right and it’s tonight
Now go out there and show 'em that you love 'em 'fore it’s too late!»
And just as I go to walk out of my bedroom door
It turns to a stage, they’re gone and this spotlight is on and I’m singin'
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
Sixty-thousand people all jumpin' out their seat
The curtain closes, they’re throwin' roses at my feet
I take a bow and «Thank you all for comin' out»
They’re screamin' so loud, I take one last look at the crowd
I glance down, I don’t believe what I’m seein'
«Daddy, it’s me! Help Mommy, her wrists are bleedin'!»
«But baby, we’re in Sweden, how did you get to Sweden?»
«I followed you, Daddy, you told me that you weren’t leavin'
You lied to me, Dad, and now you made Mommy sad
And I bought you this coin, it says 'Number One Dad'
That’s all I wanted, I just wanna give you this coin
I get the point, fine, me and Mommy are goin'.»
«But baby, wait!» - «It's too late, Dad, you made the choice
Now go up there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us
That’s what they want, they want you, Marshall, they keep
Screamin' your name, it’s no wonder you can’t go to sleep
Just take another pill, yeah, I bet you you will
You rap about it, yeah, word, k-keep it real.»
I hear applause, all this time I couldn’t see
How could it be that the curtain is closin' on me?
I turn around, find a gun on the ground, cock it
Put it to my brain, scream, «Die, Shady!» and pop it
The sky darkens, my life flashes, the plane that I was
Supposed to be on crashes and burns to ashes
That’s when I wake up, alarm clock’s ringin', there’s birds singin'
It’s spring and Hailie’s outside swingin'
I walk right up to Kim and kiss her, tell her I miss her
Hailie just smiles, and winks at her little sister, almost as if to say
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
And when I’m gone, just carry on, don’t mourn, rejoice
Every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I’m lookin' down on you smilin' and I didn’t feel a thing
So, baby, don’t feel my pain, just smile back
ever second of this song is repeatable, isn't it ?
the first time I listened to this was two years ago, then I lost my daddy...and it really hits hard " so when I am gone just carry one, don't mourn, rejoice every time you hear my voice." just know I am looking down on you smiling.
This song hits different as you get older.
Don’t trust no one
That's it. Now I understand why I go back all the time. It means different things as life goes and the older I get. Thanks dude 😀
And you have children

Você percebe na forma que ele canta que ele realmente está demostrando sentimentos, e isso deixa a música incrível, sem contar a batida que já é muito boa

No words for Eminem's music love it ❤️ keep it up 🔥 Rap King 🔥🔥
After 13 years, I am still in love with this song
I love the way he has put life in the soul of lyrics...💕💗🎧🎵🎶
Having a 8 year old daughter that is my absolute world, my everything just makes this song hit me that much harder. Until you have a child of your own you just can't comprehend this type of love. It's so different from anything I've ever known. I'd lay my life down for my little angel without hesitation. Literally give an arm for.
I just lost my dad 2 days ago. This song speaks to me on a different level. Thank you Em ❤️
Man don't feel weak..... I will also pray for your Dad... 😔Rest in peace.. 😔
Rip your dad
Are you gab?
@Kay b to není tak hrozný jak dlouho to
Lol to bude zaplaceno a ještě k mání to není tak hrozný jak jsem již v pátek jsem
4:35 - 4:45
This short 10 second part hit me like a truck when I was 18/19. Heavily addicted to painkillers, and something about it just spoke to me. Some Eminem songs helped a shit ton.
As I remember this was my first Em's song I ever heard ... EMINEM 🙂 we love you
I still cant comprehend the talent, the creativity and the power to create something so beautiful and powerful as this song is.. Eminem truly is a music God. Masterpiece
This song is amazing literally, I will always come back to it❤
Eminem songs make people cry, motivate, laugh, think. He's the full package

I learned these lyrics by heart at 14. Now that I’m in my 30s and understand what he’s saying it makes me cry 😢
2023 and this beautiful piece feels so fresh. EM is indeed one of the best MC's.
This song brings me to tears. A masterpiece, thank you Em.

Uma da minhas Favoritas 😎🖤🎶🤙🏽
Todas vez que escuto não enjoou. Que música foda! Eminem é um gênio.
Yeah, it's my life
My own words, I guess
Have you ever loved someone so much
You'd give an arm for
Not the expression, no
Literally give an arm for
When they know they're your heart
And you know you are their armor
And you will destroy anyone who would try to harm her
But what happens when karma
Turns right around and bites you
And everything you stand for turns on you to spite you
What happens when you become the main source of her pain
"Daddy look what I made"
"Dad's gotta go catch a plane"
"Daddy where's mommy?
I can't find mommy, where is she?"
"I don't know, go play, Hailie baby, your daddy's busy
Daddy's writing a song, this song ain't gon' write itself"
I give you one underdog, and you gotta swing by yourself
Then turn right around in that song and tell her you love her
And put hands on her mother who's the spittin' image of her
That's Slim Shady, yeah baby Slim Shady's crazy
Shady made me
But tonight, Shady's rock-a-bye baby
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back
I keep havin' this dream
I'm pushin' Hailie on a swing, she keeps screamin', she don't want me to sing
"You're makin' mommy cry, why, why is mommy cryin'"
"Baby, daddy ain't leavin' no more, daddy you're lyin'
You always say that, you always say this is the last time
But you ain't leavin' no more daddy, you're mine"
She's pilin' boxes in front of the door tryin' to block it
"Daddy please, daddy, don't leave, daddy, no, stop it"
Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket
It's got a picture, "This will keep you safe daddy, take it with ya"
I look up, it's just me standin' in the mirror
These fuckin' walls must be talkin', 'cause man I can hear 'em
They're sayin', "you got one more chance to do right
And it's tonight, now go out and show 'em that you love 'em before it's too late"
And just as I go to walk out of my bedroom door
It turns to a stage, they're gone and the spotlight is on and I'm singin'
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back
Sixty thousand people all jumpin' out their seat
The curtain closes, they're throwin' roses at my feet
I take a bow, and thank you all for comin' out
They're screamin' so loud, I take one last look at the crowd
I glance down, I don't believe what I'm seein'
"Daddy, its me, help mommy, her wrists are bleedin'"
But baby we're in Sweden
How did you get to Sweden?
"I followed you daddy
You told me that you weren't leavin'
You lied to me dad, and now you made mommy sad
And I bought you this coin, it says number one dad
That's all I wanted, I just want to give you this coin"
"I get the point, fine, me and mommy are goin'"
"But baby wait, it's too late dad, you made your choice
Now go out there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us
That's what they want
They want you, Marshall
They keep screamin' your name
It's no wonder you can't go to sleep
Just take another pill, yeah I bet you you will!
You rap about it, yeah word, kid keep it real"
I hear a applause, all this time I couldn't see
How could it be, that the curtain is closin' on me
I turn around, find a gun on the ground
Cock it, put it to my brain, scream, "Die Shady!" And pop it
The sky darkens, my life flashes
The plane that I was supposed to be on, crashes, and burns to ashes
That's when I wake up
Alarm clock's ringing, there's birds singin'
It's spring and Hailie's outside swingin'
I walk right up to Kim and kiss her tell her I miss her
Hailie just smiles and winks at her little sister almost as if to say
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back
And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back

13 years ago but still one of the best hits 😍😍😍😍😍amazing
We will never get another rapper as good as Eminem ever again.
That's real shit right there 💯👌
Bring the odd Eminem back. 🙄
The rhymes that he makes are crazy. Dre's beats are good as hell.
NEVER
Haven't listened to Em since The Eminem Show. Wow! This is emotionally powerful 🙏
