I could not believe how underprepared Simon was. Absolutely shocking. Wasn't even on top of basic facts. Eddie had him on toast, and perhaps with the weaker set of facts.
To be fair Eddie does say a lot of things in interviews then denies them later on

Frank Warren said himself it was a clear 50/50 fight. On the one hand Fury is clearly a great fighter and not “scared” but it gets more difficult every day to rationalise his actions. Usyk is everything Fury claims to be

The main things that came out of it Eddie were: 1) you were wrong about the timing of pulling the fight, you explored EVERY avenue before pulling it 2) you could have pulled the fight at anytime as per the BBOC regulations which continue to insist you couldn’t 3) You know Connor can’t submit his 200 + page document because it bangs him to rights under strict liability & he’ll get a 4 year ban.. So you carry on to promote and arrange fights for a drug cheat somewhere else instead and hope it all goes away. Shocking

Tyson Fury was under investigation for testing positve for Nandralone when he beat Klitschko, that fight went ahead for most of the titles. Weird how that doesn't bother Simon Jordan, but a non title fight that didn't go ahead has him all up in arms.

Hearns side of the Connor Benn situation and his explanation of contracts makes absolute sense to me, its common sense. For me, there's a reason why Matchroom is still the number 1 promotional company in the world and its because Hearn is always objectively correct in these kind of situations

Given both know more than I do about the rules, I wasn't sure who was wrong.
That's it, for the time he had to prepare for the interview with Hearn, Jordan's lack of knowledge on the key issues was poor.
