@nikko33 nobody does cares AAU is really constructed for a few good teams. Those teams should just play each other bcuz the talent is superior than just average teams now. I mean if the opposing team is helping a kid dunk why not just try with all of them. Why is there even coaching if that happens just let the kids do whatever the f*** they want they are doing it anyways.

@T. Ryan well that’s totally your opinion but it’s not your business and these people playing shows that they’re still kind hearted people out there unlike most of u who just care about winning and not about having fun so I’m just gonna ignore u because nobody told u to get into this and don’t use cap lol ur profile picture looks like u 50 old man 💀

    • T. Ryan
      T. Ryan 2 months ago

@Giselle! That's crap. No self respecting athlete wants to get a dunk like that. And I would have never helped my opponent score. But I grew up in an era of real hard nose competition. Now everyone gets a Blue Ribbon so their feelings don't get hurt.

My College roommate was a middle school basketball coach. He showed me game tapes of one of his players, a 5'6" 7th grader, dunking. That player grew a whole 2 inches by his senior year and played college ball with the most ridiculous dunks. It was reported that he had a 52" vertical.

My son played AAU ball for 4 years and games are way to competitive for something like this to happen. Whoever the kid was the helped the little guy dunk in game wouldn't play the next game. This had the vibe of a pickup game at a local Rec Center. Where is the competitiveness?

I haven’t seen a basketball moving for a very long time where all the players aren’t super angry and talking shit at every play. I know this is supposed to be a fun game but it is nice to actually see once ina while. I wasn’t all smiles playing but we never talked that much shit. Grew up in hockey culture so you couldn’t really do that without suggesting you wanted to fight.
