You obviously haven't checked Huel and it's variety out properly brother. You say you trust them! (bullshit) quite a few of there products rate incredibly poorly! (additives such as E343 and a slew of others) Do your research and stop declaring your unwise sentiments to the public. Apart from that I fuck with your podcast 👊🏿
I genuinely can't stand to hear Crouchy put himself down saying he's no where near as good as the Lampards And Gerrards of the world. He GENEUINLEY is a truly unique player and its not because of his height he was a unique ball playing striker. Huge respect to an idol Of mine
Again, an Exceptional episode. I'd love to understand the methodology your team uses to understand your metrics. For you to have SUCH a WIDE variety of guests, covering such a breadth of topics...and maintain and grow your audience is incredible. You/Your team appears to have excellent insight into exactly who your listeners are. I just LOVE every episode. Great job! Much love and success to you!
Peter is only 6 months younger than me and I'm a life long Liverpool fan.... I was lucky enough to see him play at anfield on a few occasions, I remember the love in the crowd for the guy. He's big, he's red, his feet stick out of bed. We loved you then Peter, nothing has changed now. YNWA.
I've always found Peter Crouch to be a very decent person and with integrity and humility a rarity in the football world of today. He's also naturally funny.
5:31 It's just as bad the other way around when people you don't know think it's okay to use your head to rest their arm on like your a piece of furniture.
Who says you can’t be successful on social media these days without presenting a manufactured product and persona, just to be liked. One thing I like about you Stephen, is that you really resonate a genuine empathy with your guests. You also listen and give them the time to reply. That came through with Peter, who’s just a good bloke who comes across as though he’s chatting in his lounge at home. His secret is he’s just being real, without trying to do or say anything contrived to get more interest. Great interview, great guest and a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours listening.
I’m so impressed by the variety of your guests and depth of conversations! Thank you 🙏 I’d love to see you have a discussion with Christopher Ryan - podcaster & author of Sex at Dawn, Nicole LePera - The Holistic Psychologist and Esther Perel - relationship counsellor.
To my shame, I remember joining in with the freak chant as an 11 year old at a football match. It took me years to actually think about how nasty it was. As crouchy said, it feels completely normal in that environment and footballers seem untouchable. I do feel bad for joining in regardless. Sorry for my part in that.
Fair play for owning up and apologising and considering your age at the time, you shouldn't feel too bad about it. However, all those grown ups who participated in that nasty bollocks are just a load of gutless cunts.
I remember being at Southampton watching saints play and seeing crouchy warming up and thinking how out of place he looked and questioning why we signed him. Then he came on and showed how good he was. His first touch and ball control was AMAZING! Great player!!!
I met Peter Crouch, years ago and what a genuine and fantastic person he is. Wears his heart on his sleeve and very funny. He indirectly inspired me to be a girl's football coach and give back to the community.
I remember your first goal for us and yes, it did feel like winning the cup! Every game me and my mates were willing you to score and when you did the release of was huge. Crouchy , you will always be 'one of us' mate. YNWA.
Great interview. I would like to express my views predominantly on the whole ethos concerning psychology within sport, and how it is now perceived within the Professional game, primarily at the highest level. I can honestly express my opinions with confidence, as I have personally studied psychology now for a number of years. Where it is so hard to get right and where many managers fail, who are known as brilliant coaches and tactically adept, is that those qualities are mainly used within and amongst the squad, going into games as the team, all trying to click as one, all eleven on the field coherently trying to sing from the same hymn sheet with passage of play. However, it all starts with individual performances and it can only take a few bad apples, that can ruin the barrel. The success of Sir Alex Ferguson was mentioned and it was also agreed, it was Ferguson's psychological abilities for each player within his Manchester United set-up, that often set him apart from his piers, attached to other clubs. Whilst using the bad apple anecdote, no more was this apparent, was when Sir Alex Ferguson decided to oust a certain player, out of the club. Sometimes, it wasn't even over a players ability. It would of been where Sir Alex Ferguson see something within that certain player, that may of been unsettling towards his squad and he decided to nullify that situation, which clearly didn't sit right with him and the way he perceived to be the smooth running of the squad, under his terms and his terms alone. I'm sure Peter would agree, at the highest level, on mass, there really isn't that much between players within their preferred positions in ability. Although there will slways be those few special players, at least one or two at each Premiership club. Now where the phyche becomes so difficult to install into each individual as a Professional, is for the manager and their staff to keep that certain individual playing consistently at the highest level they can achieve during the season. Have you not noticed how crazy it is when a club go on an unbeaten run, playing brilliant football, let's say at the start of the season, then it could be mid-way, or towards the latter end of the season, the club completely under performs, virtually playing unrecognisable in contrast to how they were playing, which would of only been no more than three to four months prior. Now would this be the whole squad of players under performing? Or did it start out with only one or two players not pulling their weight, or lacking confidence, etc etc. What you will find is that it becomes infectious, and starts to spread towards other players to the point it maybe now too late to rectify, finding the club now in the relegation zone. As stated, this is where the psychology towards the individual needs to remain consistent and how this is implemented by the manager and his staff, no doubt will play a pivotal role to how the club performs throughout that season. Sports psychology is fucking massive in today's game. Football is now so advanced, it often comes down to those small margins, that seperate the rest and a decent manager, is the biggest cog in the wheel at any club, and now in today's game, even more so.
Interesting hearing Crouchy talking about his Liverpool spell. I think of him doing really well at Liverpool and proving doubters wrong. Interesting how he sees things.
Met Crouch in Dublin back when he was a young lad at Villa with Milner and Barry etc. Lad was an absolute gent.....exactly as friendly and decent as you see on cameras.
Peter is a very beautiful man who’s improving with age. I’m really impressed you compare racial teasing to heightism teasing. I think any immutable traits are equal. I’ve never understood how one kind of suffering can legit claim all the sympathy. Being 6 foot by the age of 12, I was constantly harangued for that and being posh.
I have a very tall niece who still bends her knee's a certain way in photos, to not appear taller than the people she is with. Many more who always walk hunched and looking down because height taunts are just as detrimental as any hate directed speech. Crouch obviously used humour as a sheid but you can clearly see the impact esp as a teenager. I'm glad he managed to share his story so eloquently. Importantly he highlighted the sad truth, that fans believe (because of money) these aren't just humans with the same issues as everyone else & that they have the right to behave in such an inhumane way, believing it's acceptable banter at matches & on social media etc!
as a lanky bastard meself always loved crouchy, showing his character and honesty outside of football has built on his legacy. Not many make it into the prem as he said and that goal at Stoke will always be one of the best I’ve ever seen along with cisse’s. might not have the best record or be the best. but he’s still iconic and one of the characters in the history of the prem
52:28 - So true! Good managers are a great people person. They understand their people and have an aura of calmness. This not only applies to football but also to businesses or any organization!
Under rated Crouchy he was a cracking player with better feet than heading ability and Totally agree that players should be celebrated more for making it in football disappointing to hear about people reaching their dreams and then getting abused it's just jealousy
I’ve lived in France for 20 years, so discover some of these guests as not following British culture too closely… some real treasures, some amazingly inspiring guests, many many life lessons! … loved this one, what a great, authentic, grounded guy! ❤
I've just watched the Gary Neville interview, now watching this. Fantastic channel!!! Thanks for bringing this kind of content to us. I've now subscribed and looking forward to the future content and enjoying the rest of your previous content. Thanks again, keep up the good work.
What a surprising gem of a conversation... Just a really lovely vibe. Got a good couple laughs in especially towards the end. Well done! Great interview and really quite heart-warming and kind. I'm not even in to football, but this makes me want to go and watch a couple games now!
Don't think I've seen Steve laugh so much on a podcast, rfreshing story to hear, Crouch is obviously a positive person, who makes evryone else around them feel better too! Enjoyed this convo!
Such a likeable person who when feeling there worse can still lift others up. That is such an attribute to have in this life. Hoping he always has someone by his side who understands, loves and supports him
I love the details put into preparation for this podcast. Even down to crouches chair being slightly taller. What an example of how to create the perfect podcast. Well done sir
Well done Steven. Love your questions. I was thinking you should interview Richard Heart. This guy is a controversial crypto master. I'd love to see you interview this guy! You ask the right questions to get the best out of someone. 🌟🙏🏻
Love Crouch!!! He has the right attitude (in my humble opinion) towards Football and life. I'm a Gooner but you have to recognise class! Saw him a few times at the Emirates and he could really play! not just a long ball target. God bless
Love Crouchy, love what you did at Stoke ! and met him in Manchester airport after our flight back from Dubai, superb guy x keep driving forward ... i hear theres a space coming up at man united
I have seen many footballer interviews and Crouch as a player might not even be in my top 50 of alltimes but I can say that this might be the best interview Ive seen with a footballer. Kudos, you just won a subscriber I'm happy that Crouch got a career football as he always seemed like a likeable guy.
Love this Peter, you are so joyful to listen to. This is what is all about. Do what you enjoy until it is not anymore. Don't push for things that it is not you. Be kind, be joyous, be purposeful. Amazing that you have a good work ethics. Live fearlessly, nothing matters, family and friends' good health are the most important. Human connections and helping others. Having each other and not being alone. You are such gentle giant. I love you for that Peter. Thank you for the interview Stephen.
Loved this podcast. Peter seems like a really down to earth guy. As a Pompey fan and season ticket holder who lives about 3min walk from Fratton park, I can only hope we get back to the days of having players of this calibre and moral fibre. I also had the privilege of getting to work with Stephen producing some content with his partnership with Vodafone, and I can vouch that he is also a very down to earth and approachable guy.
Very talented footballer for sure, never seen a genuine super sub for England since. Great bloke.. Thanks for sharing another great podcast, once again..
So glad that PC has come through all the difficulties…when others are rude and abusive it reflects on them ..they are deeply unhappy and are unaware that what goes round goes around….abuse another and sooner or later it will come back to you and greatly multiplied. I support Everton but have been really disgusted by some of the fans abuse to players and in particular to Rafa, especially the last season …no need for any of this..ever. Brilliant video ..thanks so much to both of you. I hope this could be shown in schools or even a film made out of it so it makes people more aware of the harm they do and following the crowd or whatever the reason for being abusive is very weak.
The height thing is real. I’m 6’6 and everywhere you go I get ‘big fucker you are aren’t you’ but when you’re in the boozer and some pissed bloke says that, it sounds like a threat like everyone wants to take on the big lad.
I love Crouch what a genuine nice guy and a baller! Massively underrated imo mate I've been a fan of his podcast also from day one and listen to them regularly now always has me in bits if he wasn't a footballer he could of definitely been a comedian 😀👍🏻
The best managers are the ones that motivate the players. Best thing about Alex Ferguson was how he convinced his players they are world class when everyone else disagreed. A confident player is a good player, couple that with natural ability, you'll have a successful team!
You are a awesome humble passionate young man stayed Just the Way You Are don't let nobody change who you are young man God bless you hold your head up keep your head up don't never let no one see you sweat but watch your surrounding and who you let in your space including some family members.
Crouch is a legend and a fantastic footballer. He was literally England's best player in an age of scholes, gerrard, and Lampard. He showed up when they were concerned about their club games
I'm tall - female 5ft 10, my children are tall ,son 6 ' 6'' , daughter 6' . My children- now young adults have people every day ask them , like Peter, how tall are you? always in a negative way as if they are freaks, and more than once a day. It is abusive and knocks confidence. It is the first thing people say when meeting us. I'm so sick of it. I now challenge it, if possible - simply ask them not to say it. Think about if your average height or short- everyone looks like you or thinks your cute. Being tall you stand out and are definitely treated more harshly.
I never realized that tall men can suffer due their height. I have seen countless unsuccessful short men with Napoleon complex that I have wondered what their life (and society) would be like if men were all the same height. And I also wish we all got a third set of teeth that come in around the time you’re in the “root canal” phase of life! 🤣
Crouchy! spurs legend. I get your message bro. It will not last forever, I used to watch and study you as a footballer growing up. being 6'2 i used to be the "big fella on pitch" haha small people every where.
I once saw Peter Crouch on the tube. My mate said "look its Peter Crouch" and crouchey looked up from his phone nervously and then I said "shhhhh don't be so loud, he hears you" and then everything just went back to normal. I'm actually surprised he didn't mention it on here.
the reason i ADORE this podcast is that it gives us a deeper, more meaningful look into "celebrities" that we think we know, but we actually don't know a lot of their stories and it's so interesting to hear. i love getting to know all the little insights. amazing podcast!!! ❤❤❤
It makes us all look back and realise that we are all normal. It's OK to have weird thoughts qnd feelings. Life a great joy when the going is good but it's when life is hard amd we are humbled that we truly realise what why and how to become better x
@Big Bernie "prostitutes themselves for a lifestyle" working day in day out to become a professional since a kid isn't selling yourself for an hour. You don't make alot of sense for an older man. Have a great day in your council flat today mate
@myyoot That every human wants 😎 Not everyone prostitutes themselves for a lifestyle some of us still have standards, morals, principles etc Unlike yourself. I am great shape soft lad not that is any of your business.
@Big Bernie think how many different knobs she's been through whilst he's been away working and providing that lifestyle that ebery human wants. Focus on getting yourself back into shape "big" Bernie, rather than spending time slating other people/professioinals even.
@myyoot If you mean cheating on my wife and children no. Why do all you deluded, brainwashed, gullible, fools all fall for hype and bullshit surrounding these so called celebrities ?

Peter Crouch, he just brings a smile to my face and a happiness to my day because he always comes across as genuine. What more do you want? TY
What a brilliant person Crouchy is! Great interview
I genuinely can't stand to hear Crouchy put himself down saying he's no where near as good as the Lampards And Gerrards of the world. He GENEUINLEY is a truly unique player and its not because of his height he was a unique ball playing striker. Huge respect to an idol Of mine
I have watched a few episodes of your podcast and they are absolutely awesome! Well done , mate!
What à guy.. Genuine lovely person, I will be giving his own podcast a try.
Top guy. Always brought a unique dynamic to the teams he played for. A great career, solid stats and scored some spectacular goals!
Again, an Exceptional episode. I'd love to understand the methodology your team uses to understand your metrics. Doesn't matter who you support, you can't help but love Crouchy. Such a nice happy relatable kind of guy
How is he relatable? He's a millionaire celebrity which is 1% of the global population.. idiot
Relatable if you like going out with brasses he even married one that's how much he loves them.
Doesn't matter who you support because he's probably played for your club
Except if you are from Trinidad and Tobago
So true. Well said Chris.
YNWA.
You are a little gem Crouchy, everyone loves you. Diary of a CEO is brilliant.
He was playing well for them 18 games he didnt score at lfc! Top lad
He's big he's red his feet stick out the bed, Peter crouch, Peter crouch. Used to watch in the stands at anfield what a legend
I've always found Peter Crouch to be a very decent person and with integrity and humility a rarity in the football world of today. He's also naturally funny.
Thanks to his family and Clancy! :)

Well said mate
Agreed 😀💙
Same!
This is my all time favorite football interview, he breaks the mold of footballers having very little of interest to say..
Check out the long 2 part Malcolm Christie interview I can’t remember what channel it’s on but it’s so good man
I agree so much I was wondering if he got the questions ahead of time. Very engaging.
Yes, I would love to see EsterPerel on, you guys would have such a wonderful conversation
To my shame, I remember joining in with the freak chant as an 11 year old at a football match. It took me years to actually think about how nasty it was. As crouchy said, it feels completely normal in that environment and footballers seem untouchable. I do feel bad for joining in regardless. Sorry for my part in that.
@Adam Marshall JOOI why would you want to know?
ChumpChamp.
👍.
Fair play for owning up and apologising and considering your age at the time, you shouldn't feel too bad about it. However, all those grown ups who participated in that nasty bollocks are just a load of gutless cunts.
@Adam Marshall wasn’t really a chant tbh just every shouted “Freak” for as long as he had hold of the ball
Can you recall the words to the chant?
Great podcast. Being 6ft+ at a young age and having ended up being 6ft6 this is very relatable
As a 6ft tall woman that has a son 6ft 5 nicknamed crouchy and still has issues regarding his height I shall be making sure he watches this .
I remember being at Southampton watching saints play and seeing crouchy warming up and thinking how out of place he looked and questioning why we signed him. Then he came on and showed how good he was. His first touch and ball control was AMAZING! Great player!!!
What a listen, nothing but respect and admiration for this man, he's humble grounded and I think a great role model 👏
I met Peter Crouch, years ago and what a genuine and fantastic person he is. Wears his heart on his sleeve and very funny. He indirectly inspired me to be a girl's football coach and give back to the community.
Great player and deserves everything he’s got from his career. Loving these interviews 👍
I remember your first goal for us and yes, it did feel like winning the cup! Every game me and my mates were willing you to score and when you did the release of was huge. Crouchy , you will always be 'one of us' mate. YNWA.
One of life good guys.....such a great guy 🙏
@The Diary Of A CEO is that a height joke? Sorry I'm out.
A top top bloke
Lovely bloke, so down to earth. Refreshing to see. Nice one Peter 👏
I absolutely love this guy. Loved him as a footballer, still love him when he’s on the telly. Wish more footballers were this genuine
Great podcast! You bring out an honesty in your guests that I rarely see reflected in other interviews.
you’re such a talented interviewer Steven and so lovely to you both having a laugh together, made it feel really authentic!
What a great person Peter is. A really good interview, thank you Steven x

I'm happy that Crouch got a career football as he always seemed like a likeable guy.
I loved watching peter crouch as a kid around the mid 2000s. The headers were legendary!
Don’t forget the over head kicks from the big man !
Subscribed. Thanks for a great interview. Have always loved Crouchie, I didn't know all this, brave, brave man. For me, a Spurs legend.
Amazing episode as always bud, thankyou for creating this episode 🙂
You re doing à awesome job as an interviewer
Just en passant ... do you speak AFRIKAANS , being from BOTSWANA?
Praat j'y afrikaans?
Thank you Crouch. You were the one who got Spurs into the champions League for the first time against Man City.
Really insightful. Everyone has this impression or crouchy that he's just a nice guy and it comes across in this podcast
Hello Peter ,I'm an Arsenal supporter , just watched this podcast , good luck to you and your family , lovely man 👍
Loved this podcast.

What a great guy
So magnanimous
Grounded
Good for you Peter
The best managers are the ones that motivate the players. Best thing about Alex Ferguson was how he convinced his players they are world class when everyone else disagreed. A confident player is a good player, couple that with natural ability, you'll have a successful team!
You are a awesome humble passionate young man stayed Just the Way You Are don't let nobody change who you are young man God bless you hold your head up keep your head up don't never let no one see you sweat but watch your surrounding and who you let in your space including some family members.
i bumped into Peter Crouch on a Virgin train from Birmingham to London a few years ago. brilliant guy.
I always like watching him surprised but believe everything he said
Crouch is a legend and a fantastic footballer. He was literally England's best player in an age of scholes, gerrard, and Lampard. He showed up when they were concerned about their club games
What a great chap! Rich or poor, no one deserves to be humiliated - what is wrong with people who mistake put down comments for humour.. 🙄
I loved the humor and laughs.
I don’t particularly like football but I enjoyed listening to this podcast, it’s interesting to hear a high level player talk openly like this

We still support you at Liverpool Peter. YNWA ❤️
This is one of my favourite X-vid channels ever.
I once saw Peter Crouch on the tube. My mate said "look its Peter Crouch" and crouchey looked up from his phone nervously and then I said "shhhhh don't be so loud, he hears you" and then everything just went back to normal. I'm actually surprised he didn't mention it on here.
I Don’t even like football but what a legend 👏🏻
Heskey an Crouch two of the worst strikers to have graced the England Team. Footballers might be human but they don't know problems, real problems.
crouchy has a good dad for sure man👍
He's a nice lad. He is very genuine. I really enjoyed this conversation
the reason i ADORE this podcast is that it gives us a deeper, more meaningful look into "celebrities" that we think we know, but we actually don't know a lot of their stories and it's so interesting to hear. i love getting to know all the little insights. amazing podcast!!! ❤❤❤
It makes us all look back and realise that we are all normal. It's OK to have weird thoughts qnd feelings. Life a great joy when the going is good but it's when life is hard amd we are humbled that we truly realise what why and how to become better x
Yes, everyone thinks because they have a few quid, then that money mitigates any issues in life - which is utter BS.

Great episode thanks for all of the great content you’ve given me the past few months. And Peter is a gentleman
@Big Bernie "prostitutes themselves for a lifestyle" working day in day out to become a professional since a kid isn't selling yourself for an hour. You don't make alot of sense for an older man. Have a great day in your council flat today mate
@myyoot
That every human wants 😎
Not everyone prostitutes themselves for a lifestyle some of us still have standards, morals, principles etc
Unlike yourself.
I am great shape soft lad not that is any of your business.
@Big Bernie think how many different knobs she's been through whilst he's been away working and providing that lifestyle that ebery human wants. Focus on getting yourself back into shape "big" Bernie, rather than spending time slating other people/professioinals even.
@myyoot
If you mean cheating on my wife and children no.
Why do all you deluded, brainwashed, gullible, fools all fall for hype and bullshit surrounding these so called celebrities ?
