@MAO of DC wwd
When are you going to go and make video's on Sci-Fi battles again?
@Dark Lord Malthric---Good question
@Jean Gale well you can check civilizationex’s Targaryen family video, it’s more lore accurate
@Dark Lord Malthric They said that Rhaenys is Viserys I sister and is her cousin, they said aemond and Lucerys are cousins but are uncle and nephew and when the dance happened Rhaenyra was pregnant with his sixth child not the fourth.
The Dance of the Dragons, the Blackfyre Rebellions, Robert’s Rebellion… the Targaryen’s greatest enemy has always been themselves.
@Outlawfly True. Though if it's Conqued due to say, being weak after a Civil War, the Empire has a shot to come back, yes?
The only thing that could destroy the house of the dragon was itself jaherys new that
@DevvyIt not as unimaginable as u may be aware .. Just cause it can’t happen due to the current state of the world does not mean it would not have definitely happened if the political situation were different or if the conflict had taken place during an earlier period in time …
@Malice Draclau i'm fine, did i hit a nerve?
@Outlawfly that’s a moth of coughing…..would you like some NyQuil?
The is the most well put together and easy to understand Targaryen timeline of events on the internet.. Seriously, you didn't overcomplicate something that doesn't need more levels of complication.. Others have tried... And failed. Great job.
@Ruthy Morales 🌹
@B D 9 😂😂😂😂
Yeah I never really understood why others had to make it so complicated. The Targaryens have a long history, but it's really not all that complicated.
Thanks for putting all this together. Great stuff
Say what you want about George RR Martin, the man surely knows how to create a world and a well thought out history for his stories
He tweeked real historical events, the best part is that he's exactly as brutal as a parallel medevial would be.
What else would you say?
its almost unbelievable that a masterpiece like this is free to watch on yt
@martin kerr I know right.. he's even explicitly said he won't solely work on it... I'm beginning to think he wants to die before having completed TWOW and ASOS.
@Justin Emery G.R.R,M killing me on waiting for the 6th book he writes 5 in 9 yrs now that he does not need to even think about bills n stuff he writes HOTD n other small reads ,wish would finish SOIAF.
@Sulla2064 Off topic, but Cornelius Sulla Felix was such an interesting person…I feel Sulla and Marius are just as interesting (or more perhaps) than Caesar and Pompey.
@marcy beth if you haven't read the books, do that. And before that, start with ASOIAF. Although only 5 of the books are currently out, and it's been over a decade now and we're still waiting on The Winds of Winter. If you want to read things in a chronological way, Fire and Blood is what you should read. Also, this video is riddled with inaccuracies, however most people who watch the shows aren't able to keep track of the characters - even though Game of Thrones cut out 3/5 of them from ASOIF.For all intents and purposes, this is accurate and sufficient enough for 95%+ of people.
Fact check: Rhaenyra was pregnant with her *sixth* child when she received the news of Aegon's usurpation. By this time she already had five sons: Jacaerys, Lucerys, Joffrey, Aegon, and Viserys; the child she miscarried was her daughter Visenya.Edit: Also, Queen Helaena was Queen Dowager Alicent's daughter, not her daughter-in-law.
Rheanys is also Viserys cousin. Not his sister.
Also Aemond lost his eye in a grudge match with his nephew not his cousin.
She was her daughter also daughter in law lmao
@BuckledBen it was started by Aegon I believe
The redkeep wasnt built in aegons reign but many years after in megors cruel reign
Seems strange to completely skip over the reign of Maegor the Cruel.
This mf brought up the burning of the faith militant but not the fuckin DEMON who did it😔😔😔😔😔
@Cash Nelson Lmfao I love this insult
@TP Media bird brain comment
@Ethan Qu make your own video man. it's not that deep
We dont like him... MAY-gor is related to EE-gor... 🤣
I want to watch this but I also don't want to spoil HBO shows that'll be based on these stories. Difficult dilemma.
Hey people, in terms of art and animation, some parts are from our earlier videos made for Kings and Generals 2 years ago on GoT subject. Other parts are new and made for this video only. So there is a difference between styles, map design etc. The reason is this. Happy watching and see you on the next one. 🖐️
Yes I saw that and I love this one too
Personally I don't mind. Because that's not why I'm here, when reading history or story like GoT sometimes I got lost in some point and it's very good thing some people willingly to summarize it in form of video. Thank you for the update and may all king and general channels grow even more
I cant escape you, guys.
No worries then. Cheers.
Yeah was just rewatching your first GoT video n noticed some differences coming to this cheers
"When King Aenys died, he was succeeded not by his son but by his younger brother Maegor. A fearsome warrior, Prince Maegor Targaryen worked as his brother's Hand but he was exiled after one too many disagreements, mainly about dealing with the Faith. Maegor flew back while riding old Balerion and claimed the Iron Throne. He swiftly crushed the Faith Militant presence in Kings Landing then flew to Oldtown and forced the High Septon to disband and outlaw the Faith Militant. To encourage citizen participation, he also put bounties on the heads and scalps of any holy man carrying arms. Many died and many more went back to their septs.""King Maegor ruled for just six years but his reign was so brutal that when his last surviving nephew Jaehaerys made his bid for the Iron Throne, Maegor was abandoned by most of his supporters. He was found dead, seated on the Iron Throne which he so zealously clung to. And history Maegor Targaryen is forever nicknamed The Cruel."
More like Magor the Efficient would love to see swift leadership like that more often
@Mikooster I'm the same. This isn't good. Maegors rule had a lot if cool stuff.
Yeh. They skipped 6 years of Margors rule. Plus they skipped other important stuff. Dissapointed. Those little bits I could condone. But not this huge chunk.
@Fig Jam Exactly he put the realm in a since back in order.
@Mikooster so because they accidentally skipped over one thing you assume that a lot of or all of the information is incorrect?
I never managed to read the novels by G.R.R. Martin, but I love the world of ice and fire, so for me it is really amazing having the whole history of house targaryen summarized in a documentation. Thanks a lot for the hard work!
We'll probably get another volume of the world of ice and fire before winds lol
I remember first reading the book years ago and falling in love with all the intrigue and war. Watching the same story in one of your top-notch videos is a true blessing, I've been waiting for this one. Brilliant job to everyone who worked on this!👏
i've noticed that aegon in the books was painted in a much better light compared to in the show. which makes sense since mobs supported aegon especially, after the people's queen, helaena killed herself. as well as the fact that people were generally sexist and the authors of the asoiaf history books wanted to highlight the people they supported including, themselves for their selfish benefits.
I picture Valeria like a modern looking futuristic city with dragons flying about. Hope they bring it to life in HOTD.
or dragonstone harren hal and bologena tuscany
I like to think of it as like that elf city in the lord of the rings they all go to in the first movie like super rich and fantasy like and magical
Why would it be modern? It makes more sense to imagine Ancient Rome at its height, except with very tall skyscrapers and dragons.
Valeria is long destroyed in HOTD
@Jose Sanchez It’s more than 200 years. I guess🤔
I hope HBO makes a series on the destruction of Valeria and Aegon’s conquest.
They probably won’t disclose Valyria THAT much considering the mystery behind it makes the world sm more interesting
It would just be a strange cultural impact to glorify sibling-marriage. It was one thing showing gross Jamie/Cersei, another showing the glorious trio of Aegon and his two sister-wives.
Excellent video kings and looking forward to the new House of Dragon series.
You should also read the book fire and blood
So in terms of military units, the Dragons are not as all powerful as I once thought. In terms of dragons against armies, the dragons need to be supported from the ground by infantry, as while devastating they are vulnerable to ranged weaponry (crossbows and Scorpions notably). Myraxes shows this, as even during the Conquering a single dragon is defeatable. You can get away with just dragons though, if you have a decisive number of them. The Battle of the Gullet shows this, as well as the dragons weakness to ranged attack. Dragon on Dragon combat however I would not advise, in any scenario really. The only example I can see of a straight victory is the battle between Aemond and Lucerys, and that only ended cleanly because Aemond outweighed Lucerys threefold (according to the book) and had years more experience riding. Every other example of combat between dragons ended in mutual defeat. Aemond himself would meet his end in what could be argued as the most even fight between dragons of the war, between himself and Daemon, but in the end the dragons were destroyed weakening both sides (as well as denying them able commanders). Aegon II too, would shatter both his legs in his fight to retake Dragonstone, and while he and Sunfyre can claim victory, again both rider and dragon were incapacitated as a result. So how should dragons be used? Several ways, I think:First, reconnaissance. Excellent flight range, fast as hell and if you choose not to engage the enemy can’t really touch you. Prince Daeron shows this, as the young man proved vital to the Hightower advance from the reach doing exactly this. Second, fire support. Dragons should not be deployed dirslectly to the frontline, anywhere. They are too valuable, costly, and are often ridden by people of supreme importance to the army overall. As such, they should be kept at maximum range most of the time, and deployed at pivotal points of the engagement. To create breaches in a wall, to curtail a cavalry charge. To break a stubborn shield wall. While a Field of Fire style decimation sounds good, the risk in my estimation is too high. Last, that I can think of anyway, deterrence. Frankly, the threat of dragons is more beneficial than actually using them. Since Harrenhall, every lord in the land knows what could happen if you piss off a dragonrider. Using them as a threat can bring rebellions to premature ends before they begin. King Jaraharys I (Spelling, I know…) famously flew to Oldtown with his dragon just to make a point, he also forgave his step-uncle Lord Baratheon very magnanimously, while they were both standing in front of his dragon eating. The Lord got the message. Dragons do not win fights by themselves, and losing one is equivalent to losing a battle by itself. But used properly, you can conquer a continent with them![Thank you for reading, those who did! Also good job GRRM, for creating such a believable universe to discuss, and the lads at Wizards, for this ace video!]
@Vlad Cirus definitely not a thousand years but they did take quite some time but that was only bc it’s suggested that ancient valyrians weren’t completely expert dragon riders and didn’t know how to fully utilize their dragons
@Manic Dre this video doesn’t go over it but the rhumerians i think? the ancestors of the dornish were able to resist the dragons of valyria with water magic
They’re best used against undefended settlements (especially without ballistics) cavalry, levies (peasants) and navies without ballistics, even hooks can be used if the dragon is smaller.
Theoretically speaking Dragons are constantly evolving weapons and preserving them is essential and ideal. Dragons, like most reptiles, never stop growing until they die. While I know Balerion died of old age, he was also not allowed to fly for the last years of his life. There have been wild dragons larger and older than him. As long as a dragon can survive 2 or 3 generations of riders it can grow too large for any weapon to truly damage them. A Balerion+ sized dragon can destroy capitals by itself, with scales too large to penetrate with weapons and the ability to breathe fire from such a height that its rider is safe from any arrows. If the dragons were properly preserved the Targaryen reign would never end
Rhaenys and Viserys weren't brother and sister. They were cousins. Rhaenys was the first born child of King Jaeherys' third born son Aemon and Viserys was the first born of Jaeherys' 4th born son Baelon whom both were heir apparent before dying before Jaeherys. Rhaenys' line technically had the stronger claim being the first born of an elder son, but since she was female, the great counsel of 101 AC chose Viserys over Rhaenys and her son Leanor due to Viserys being the closest living male relative. They were the only 3 potential claimants to be seriously considered out of roughly a dozen potential heirs. That story is a very important precursor to the Dance of the Dragons.
@Lochlan Ensign Lucerys is also his cousin because he is the official son of Laenor
@Hoodie Fire and Blood states that Rhaenys and Viserys are cousins. Rhaenys is the daughter of Aemon and Jocelyn.
@Dell12 16 "...few lords supported her, but the greatest of these was Corlys Velaryon who controlled the largest fleet in the realm, and his Targaryen wife Rhaenys, the old king's sister." - Harry Lloyd as Viserys Targaryen in the Lore and History of Westeros.
@Dell12 16 Can you not read? The World of Ice and Fire written by George RR Martin and the Lore and History videos on X-vid voiced by the actors in Game of Thrones.
@Hoodie idk where you got that from, they were never siblings, Rhaenys is the daughter of Aemon and Jocelyn Baratheon and Viserys is the son of Aemon’s younger brother, Baelon and his sister. This means that Viserys and Rhaenys are first cousins (not counting their incestuous heritage ofc lmao).
This was absolutely awesome. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you going through the history step by step like this. Keep up the amazing work and you have a new subscriber!
amazing, you did a good job, a very good job. This is the most well-put-together and easy-to-understand Targaryen timeline of events on the internet.
I’ve come to appreciate this Channel much more than the K&G since we’re past most of the early Roman history. Thanks for the content!
Thank you for all the awesome content you put out and thank you to the patrons that support the channel as well.
This was a heartfelt revisitation for me, and I can't wait for part two !!
this is a masterpiece. A work of art. Incredible. I've watched it three times.
The more I watch videos like this one, the more I hope that maybe GOT could make a comeback in a renewed series.
I just wish he would finish the damn books. And if he doesn't want to, let another author have a go.
@Trey Artson how about we let nihilistic garbage die an ugly death?
The best chance we have is the spinoff series following John Snow north of the wall after his banishment at the end of GoT. Its currently in pre-production for HBO.
@Josh Shacklock I know about the house of the dragon series, but I was talking about a remake/reboot.
err i t has? :P
The K&G channels always do an incredible job! And videos of this length and quality best examples of their work. Thank you again for the content you create!
Very detailed. Thank you for the video, this couldn’t have been simple to put together. Also, Daemon is such a beast!
This history is amazing. I study it as If it really happened. What a story.
This is the best docummentary channel hands down. What a treat this is! Thanks
I'm loving this history. It really helps with trying to follow what's happening. Thanks for your hard work.
damn, this youtube channel deserves more than a million subs, not only they give great visual representation of the books/lore, but it has great narration as well! Can't believe i just discovered this channel now!
It's a secondary channel of the Kings and Generals channel, they have +2M subs
Thank you for this. This is so well done!
These longform videos are great. Keep 'em coming.
Holy hell. An hour long documentary. Well done dude :3
Nah this video was mediocre at best. They completely skipped Maegor the Cruel!
Man, I love the editing here and how the video presents the strategy and the players involved in these battles.Well done, WnW.
a vivid account of the Targaryens. I think the greens (lead by Lord Otto) is the cause of the doom of this noble and fearfull house. Greediness all needed to bring this house on it knees
Considering that plenty of medieval fantasy series have been covered on this channel, will Pirates of the Caribbean be covered on this channel as well?
pirates of the caribbean definitely doesn't have enough lore for a video like this lmao
I hope not. :)
They did cover the battles of the early Star Wars Rebellion (with sick 3D animations too!) so I don’t see why not.
There's not really a "war" going on in that series fron what I remember. There are some battles, but they're not really connected as part of one conflict. That being said, I'd still probably watch it.
"While Jacaerys was arming peasants with giant sentient napalm machines," - possibly the greatest line I have ever heard in a documentary.
Wow! This gave me the feeling of watching a documentary. Well done! 👏👏👏
You forgot Maegor there, after Aenys I. But it is DoD so, it's okay. Nice video as always. 🥰Gonna wait for warhammer 40k or Malazna hopefufully.
My first time in this channel and i knew immediately it was related to Kings And Generals!!Dude you're my major source of ancient knowledge, both on real and fantasy worlds! Thanks for that!
Normally I’d agree but they really did a bad job researching the info for this episode. They got so many details wrong ☹️
I’ve been waiting for a K&G documentary on the Dance of the Dragons for years….
Too bad it’s half-assed.
@Michael Erler It’s already there
Now we need some about the Blackfyre Rebellions.
Simply amazing video, I love longer formats even though they do not perform very well on youtube.
You made a mistake with Qarth and the Red wastes. There were numerous cities around Qarth and the Red waste wasn't a desert until it's lake and rivers ran dry after the Doom.
Game of thrones season 4
Game of thrones
Thank you for this! Now I have a lil bit of high expectations in regards of how bloody the series gonna be.
Fantastic. Love the long format! Keep up the good work guys always a pleasure.
wait you skipped Aenys, Maegor, Faith Militant uprising, the whole reign of Jaehaerys, Fourth Dornish War, Myrish Bloodbath, the war in the stepstones and skipped right to the dance. Thats a shame if you want to do all of the history of the Targs
Because House Of The Dragons are on aid. I think those will be covered after the series ended and before John Snow sequel begin.
Awesome video and just in time for our return to Westeros!
Good work and excellent art work - allthough I would say, the history of house Targaryon is to much for one video (even such a long one). It would be even better, if you had concentrated the video only on the Dance of Dragons (and annother video for the conquest, one for the Dornish war, one for the Blackfyre rebellion etc.).
Brilliant piece of work, thank you for the through and clear information
Having had a chance to chew on the lore, it makes sense Dorne knew to move to guerrilla tactics. The Roynar had fought the dragon lords before but this time they had it easy. There were only three of them.
I watched this a while ago and tonight was wondering why the heck I couldn't find it on the Kings and generals channel. Didn't realize that there was another channel by the same creator, this is awesome!
I love your content! Lore videos like this one are the just awesome.
this whole video gave me my fix. THANK YOUUUUUUU!!! Perfectly executed.
I heard "...arming peasants with sentient napalm machines..." and literally burst out laughing.
there were more lyrics than that to "SnM is a WMD" but I want this to be a no-spoilers environment. So you'll have to go find them yourself. I think it was released as a 10" 45 RPM record on Crushing Bombast records first. But it didn't get noticed until the next year, when it was rereleased twice--once on a Boiling Tundra Records cassingle, and again as a split mini-disc where it was the B-side (The A-side was "The Eyes of Evelyn Eleven" by Frothfinder) on MaxMinMaxMinMinMinMaxMaxMin Records.
@Versaii Don't you remember their first big college radio hit? It was called "SnM is a WMD." And it went a little something like this:Down the stairs to the bottom floor/ There’s blood on the knob as you open the door./ In the gloom you see a visual scream/ This SnM dungeon is a war machine. Sanctioned inside, you find a table of pain/ Inspections aren’t working so let’s try it again/
Suddenly robotic hoops pin you down by your thighs./ This SnM session is a war surprise.Resistance is futile so you scream and shout./You worry Mistress Fallujah will tear your eyes out./But as she puts on your blindfold, she says breathily/"This SnM gabber is a WMD."/
[rhythmic piston noises]
/This SnM banger is a WMD./ This SnM stomper is a WMD./ This SnM slammer is a WMD./ The SnM safeword is “WMD” [this last line unexpectedly WHISPERED in an “ASMR” style, albeit by a sexy man]
@Versaii SURELY you know what I'm talking about. Sentient napalm Machines! Or "SnM" as the fans call them. Now they're a CCR cover band, but back in their early days, they sounded more like Skinny Puppy. Or KMFDM. Or Einsteiner NEuurrbauten (sp?)
@D. M. Collins what’re u on about 💀💀
Byzantine empire be like
Amazing story telling, I would have loved it much more if it did include better or more visuals, but amazing still 👍
THis was thorough and fantastic and I watched the entire video. Thank you
Finally. This way is much clearer the order and how of the happenings. Thanks. Excellent video!
Just so well done. Thank you. Wow!
The quality of this explanation is so good 👏🏻👏🏻
WHAT THE HELL? Kings and Generals has a fantasy and fiction channel and it has TONS of videos? I had no idea! This is like an early Christmas present.
Welcome on board sir!
It's interesting that many Lords went "If I sit very still, nobody will notice me" during the Dance of the Dragons. Goes to show how it was part War, part Diplomatic Fight, part Political Machinations
It’s actually quite possible that the Targaryens fled from Valyria due to some political mishap at court and chose exile on dragonstone rather than death. The whole thing about Danys the dreamer foretelling the destruction of Valyria is likely a myth conjured up afterwards.
@UGNAvalon To be fair, many dragon dreams are misinterpreted by the dreamers
Dream: _~If you stay, it’ll mean the destruction of your line~_“Yeah, I’d rather not be a victim of political intrigue. Time to head out!”_Valyria gets destroyed_“…..yeah! Totally knew that cataclysm was coming!”
Could have been both prophetic dreams and political mishap
The Targaryens do have 'Dragon Dreams' the gift of prophecy as seen amongst many Targaryens (Daeron the Drunkard) and Blackfyres (Daemon II Blackfyre) whose visions do come true just not in the way they have interpreted. However I do think that idea that its a myth is an interesting one in this case.
After a hard working day, these videos come from heavens 🐲Keep it strong fellas
Loved this video. Excellent history of the fantasy
Watching these videos gives me a whole nother perspective on characters and events. Can you make a video about Rob's final plan and how he planned to take Casterly rock?
That was a tv show addition he actually planned to retake the North from the iron born.
57:26 The Starks weren't at the Battle of Kingsroad. The war was over by the time the Starks made it that far South. They didn't make it to Kings Landings until after it was taken by the Tully/Blackwater host.
This leaves me wondering, what if one of the more powerful Dragon Houses had survived the Doom.
I remember listening to the story book of this, and now i get to see it in visually told. THANK YOU W&W/K&G!!!
You work is great! You should do Mass Effect and Harry Potter lore also!
A excellent documentary, very nicely done gentlemen.
The reason they never found Daemon is simple: the TARDIS came for him and took him to new adventures
Wow id love to play a dnd setting where we explore the origin of where the targaryen get their dragon taming power, since its so vauge and havent been explored by the book or any publication
Fantastic documentary! It would be a great and wonderful joy if you all made one akin to this for the Star Wars LEGENDS timeline! From the Rakata Infinite Empire to the fall of Darth Krayt's One Sith Empire!
@Peter Gianakopoulos How about we just stop acknowledging Disney instead. That's easier.
You make it
all the twists and turns such good writing.im assuming the dance of dragons begins at the end of season 1, so 2 seasons should be enough time to tell this story well.season 2 & 3 with 20 episodes.
This is a great video for studying battle strategies, my goodness!
I've noticed something in almost every iteration of this lore whether it be books or videos of a Netflix series, no one ever named the planet just the continents and land locations.
That was the most ambitious crossover between a TV show and nordpass I've ever seen
This is pretty interesting. They should make a TV series about it.
Funny you mention that.
It's out there. House of the dragon season 1 on Hbo.
This is one of the most amazing things I have seen put together by an "amateur"
love it!!! Make more please :)
Very well put together, great work!
This is K&G/W&W's own account lmao.
Good lord, every single Dance of Dragons battle ends with "so and so won a great victory, but died during the battle"
Looking forward to see how HBO adapts "Dance of the Dragons."
I blame Allicent and Otto for being too ambitious and prideful, rhaenyra aeven extended an olive branch to them, but no, they want the throne. I dont really care about the Targaeryan but i care about the dragons like vermithor and his lullaby.
The best animation…the best commentary & the best channel for vids like this
Man the dance of the dragons really finished everything
This was absolutely amazing very well done im so glad i stuck through till the end... job well done by all
since the show is taking liberties, one change i would like is for Rhanyra to join in the dragon fights and use Syrax more. amazing video btw
@Dopeocalypse Now that will be cool, also if they do the Nettles love story with him it will be amazing seeing them together after Daemon VS Aemond.
Same here. I'd like them to affirm Daemon living after killing Aemond though, even if it means he's grievously wounded or disappears into self-imposed exile out of grief from losing his dragon.
Glad to see they're still with GRRM's universe
After just finishing the Dance of the Dragons section of Fire and Blood, I get the notification for this video, what timing!
Being in a targeyen army seems like the easiest job the dragons do all the work and you just wait to kill off what's left
Thank you, for this! Deeply appreciated!
This was really good and detailed video, thanks! But I should not have watched it, especially now when House of the dragon tv show just started. I just couldn't resist :)
@Gio D but with fire and blood you can read it on its own you don't have to read any other books it's self contained
@Alfie Ingrouille I have red first three books, lost kinda interest after tv show. But I may continue reading..
You should read the fire and blood book
Princess Rhaenyra was in her sixth pregnancy at the time of her fathers death already having five sons the elder three being Velaryons not Targaryans. Princess Rhaenys was Viserys' cousin not sister. The Martells wouldn't join the realm and remain independant until long after The Dance of the Dragons (until the reign of King Daeron II) so surely they were less then desinterested in The Dance of the Dragons.
It is said the Targaryens themselves are literally part Dragon. The Valyrian s were known to do genetic and magic experiments. So it's not far fetched to think they modified themselves to naturally have Dragon magic and genes. Afterall, every few generations, Targaryens had stillborn babies who had...Dragon like features. These babies would have scales and darker skin. It's some kind of recessive Dragon gene. This not only explains the Targaryens fire resistance and bonding with Dragons. But it explains repeated statements in the series "You are a Dragon". It's literal not metaphorical. And the ones who taught Valyrians how to tame Dragons and how to create Dragonsteel/Valyrian steel? (Metal with fire magic inside). The shadow people? Those were likely the Children of the Forest. These creatures created both the Whitewalkers and Valyrians to balance each other and to stop the expansion of mankind into their lands
Interesting take. However, Targaryens are not fire-resistant according to the books. The only example of this would be Dany surviving the pyre that birthed her dragons which is why she received the title of 'The Unburnt' among the other 10+. But GRR himself has explained that what happened that night was facilitated by external magical forces (the blood magic rituals) and the fact that Dany survived and the dragons were born was 'a miracle'. The show writers changed this and made her fire resistant to make her OP and get away with lazy writing I suppose.
The Targaryens are like Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh always relying on dragons to win a match when all else fails
Blue eyes white dragon more like red eyes black Dragon anyday
Barring a few mistakes you guys made e.g.: Rhaenys and Viserys I, this is a top notch video, well put together as per usual KNG form. Research could be better but over all, good job guys!!p.s. more and more knock off channels are popping up in your wake ..I'm all for freedom and enterprise but I can't say I'm a big fan of those other channels. Kudos!!
The good thing about art and entertainment is, unlike sports, politics, science and religion, people do not need to be a fan or follower of a single source. Many channels are good, we watch most, some prefer only a few, others consume most of the content, everyone be happy at the end.
Very intriguing. Thank you for sharing!
